Five potential candidates to replace Darren Moore at West Brom

West Brom have sacked Darren Moore despite being 4th in the Championship. Here are five potential candidates to replace him-

Slavisa Jokanovic- He guided Fulham to promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs last season but was sacked midway through this campaign. Could he make a return to the dugout at the Hawthorns?

David Wagner- He is available after leaving Huddersfield Town in January. The German boss got the Terriers promoted from the Championship in 2017 and kept them up in the top flight in their first season there.

Michael Appleton- His name is in the frame having worked at the Hawthorns before. The 43-year-old has also previously managed Portsmouth, Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers, Oxford United as well as a stint as assistant manager of Leicester City.

Derek McInnes- The former Bristol City boss has impressed at Aberdeen since taking over the Scottish Premiership side in 2013. The Dons have shunned off interest from the likes of Sunderland and Rangers in the past so it will be hard for the Baggies to lure him away from Scotland.

Tony Mowbray- This is an interesting one to throw into the hat. He is currently in charge of Blackburn Rovers and managed West Brom from 2006 to 2009 where he guided them to the Championship title in 2008. The 55-year-old is a vastly experienced manager and has also had spells at Hibernian, Celtic, Middlesbrough and Coventry City. Would he leave Blackburn to go back to the Baggies?
